I consider myself to be a focused consultant, who has acquired experience within delivering key business solutions within leading financial services organisations and the overseeing of complex projects, utilising client, risk and lifecycle management expertise. I am adept at building and managing key client relationships, effectively translating requirements and overseeing all issues through to completion. My past experiences have enabled me to develop my communication and presentation skills, my analytical skills, as well as in depth knowledge of the financial services industry in Australia and the UK.
Initially I started my career with the ANZ Bank in Australia working in several branches. From there I was inducted into a training role covering operational and supervision courses. This included training on a new system being implemented throughout the Bank.
An opportunity then arose within ANZ Funds Management as a Business Development Manager (BDM) for Insurance services which involved training, review of strike rates and managing the sales for 80 branches.
After a couple of years as BDM I was seconded to Head Office to rewrite all training modules and user guides for Insurance Services and then ultimately managing the ANZ Insurance system along with the user guides and training materials. I was then head hunted by a technology company where I worked as a Product Manager on Insurance systems, travel systems and Real Estate systems. There endeth my career in Australia. We moved to London where I was employed initially as a Business Analyst on the finova origination system. Then moving into Project Management. When finova started to develop a servicing solution I was heavily involved in the specifications for the solution. More recently I have been actively involved with our Equity release clients on both origination and servicing implementations and extension of both systems to meet the industries requirements.
